Surprisingly to most people becoming a certified pilot is far easier and less expensive than expected. With North County Flight Training you can be sure you will be trained efficiently and effectively to maximize your training dollar.

   Requirements

   Expectations

With North County Flight Training your instruction is tailored to you personally. The precise number of hours it will take for you to complete your training will depend on the amount of time you dedicate to training, as well as the rate at which you absorb the material.

It is certainly not impossible to complete your training with the minimum required hours, however the national average number of hours of Private Pilots completing their exam have is 65-72. At North County Flight Training the average is lower (62-68) so students are advised to plan for 70 hours of flight time and 65 hours of instruction. A Private Pilot Certificate will enable you to fly anywhere anytime in good weather and visibility. It has NONE of the restrictions of the Sport Pilot Certificate.
